That sword is a magic word.

It works in every situation to propel yourself forward.

The Ability to Tell Yourself “No”.

Whatever your dream, you will not be able to get anywhere near it without perfecting the ability to tell yourself “no”.

This simple word is the key to mastery:

Resisting Temptation

You desire rock hard abs, but a savory slice of pizza is calling your name.

You know you need to wake up early to train, and build a body you are proud of, but the bed is so warm.

You dream of building a business to have the freedom and success you KNOW you are capable of achieving.

All of these goals depend on your ability and willingness to tell yourself “no” when you want pizza instead of salad, to resist the urge to hit “SNOOZE” and sleep instead of train.

Only you can turn off Youtube and Netflix and get to work on the business idea that haunts you.

The first step is saying no to the temporary desires that will hold you back.

Saying No With Women

Nowhere is resisting your weakness more important than in dealings with women.

If you gush all over a woman, spilling your feelings and deepest fears, she will read that as weakness and be repulsed.

We’ve all experienced this.

When a beautiful woman is licking on you, making you food, and getting warm and wet for you- your emotions become a dangerous cocktail of oxytocin and dopamine.

Even the strongest man will soften under these circumstances.

You feel weak.

You want to get mushy and tell her how beautiful she is.

“I’ve never felt like this before”, and other platitudes are on the tip of your tongue.

You think, “…maybe having a girlfriend wouldn’t be so bad...”.

That is the origin of the common refrain:

“Most men are one blowjob away from the plantation”

Your feelings are telling you to open yourself up and tell your woman all your feelings.

Ignore them.

Any man that has ever been down this road knows the sting of making yourself vulnerable to a woman.

It turns her off. She starts to duck your calls and grows elusive.

You cannot be successful with women unless you control your own emotions, resisting the desire to pour your heart out like the saps in fake romantic comedies.
